By accessing and using CVOS ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Service.

CVOS provides an AI-powered CV builder and tailoring service designed to help users create ATS-friendly CVs for UK job applications. Our Service includes:

  • Online CV builder with templates
  • AI-powered CV tailoring to job descriptions
  • ATS score analysis and recommendations
  • CV export in PDF and DOCX formats

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, truthful, and not misleading. CVOS does not generate fake experience or qualifications.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Violate any applicable UK laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CVOS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the CV content you create using our Service. By using the Service, you grant CVOS a license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5. Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors, interruptions, or defects.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, CVOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Results from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Using our Service will guarantee job interviews or employment

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CVOS, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
